San Cayetano - Torre Pacheco

Costa Cálida (Murcia)

San Cayetano is a pedanía (small village/hamlet) in the municipality of Torre-Pacheco in the autonomous region of Murcia. It is located in the Campo de Cartagena, near the summit of Cabezo Gordo and the border with the neighboring municipality of San Javier, and nestled between other villages such as Balsicas, Avileses, and El Mirador.

The village developed around a church built in the 17th century by theatines (a religious order) dedicated to San Cayetano, after whom it is also named.

San Cayetano has various amenities, including a primary school, a health center, and a social center. It celebrates elaborate annual patronal festivities around August 7th, the day of Saint San Cayetano.
