Rafal

Costa Blanca South

Rafal is a small municipality in the province of Alicante and is located in the fertile region of Vega Baja del Segura and is known for its agricultural character, mainly citrus and vegetable cultivation. Rafal has a quiet, rural atmosphere and has just over 4,000 inhabitants. The village has a typical Spanish character with traditional festivals, such as the Semana Santa and local patronal celebrations.

Rafal is approximately 20 minutes drive from the beaches of Guardamar del Segura and 30 minutes from the city of Torrevieja. Both destinations are easily accessible via regional roads and offer a nice combination of coast and city close to the quiet, rural Rafal.
