The town of Polop, also known as Polop de la Marina, is located inland on the northern Costa Blanca in an area known as Marina Alta. The local economy is mainly based on agriculture and tourism. The town is a pleasure to explore and perfect for a morning or afternoon walk. The hill, where the castle used to be, is surrounded by a medieval wall and is a must to visit. Follow the zigzag path and you will be rewarded with some beautiful views
