Herrerías
Costa de Almería
Herrerías is a small village in the province of Almería, located in southeastern Spain. It is known for its quiet, rural atmosphere and its proximity to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Las Herrerías is a small former mining settlement with only a few hundred inhabitants, situated a few kilometers from the coast near Villaricos. The village has a distinct industrial past (mining), which is still visible in remnants such as old mining structures and the historic mining arch, and also features a striking church (Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia) from 1905 with an unusual, almost Central European design.
