Frequently asked questions about our viewing trips

Everything you need to know about planning your trip, your stay, buying a property and our contribution.

How long does a property viewing trip last?

Ideally, a property viewing trip lasts 3 to 4 days in Spain, including at least 2 working days. This gives us enough time to view properties and explore the area. A different length of stay can be discussed.

How much does a property viewing trip with Vidando Estates cost?

In principle, you cover your own travel and accommodation expenses. Vidando Estates will be happy to help you arrange flights, a hotel and, if required, transport. We discuss the practical arrangements and costs in advance.

If you subsequently purchase a newly built property through Vidando Estates, you may be eligible for a contribution of €500 per person, subject to the conditions explained below.

Will I receive a €500 contribution towards my viewing trip?

Yes. If you purchase a newly built property through Vidando Estates, the contribution is €500 per person.

The contribution is provided after the notarial deed of purchase has been signed and Vidando Estates has received its commission from the property developer. This normally takes place within approximately two weeks after both conditions have been met.

Vidando Estates decides, at its own discretion, how the contribution is granted. This may take the form of a discount on the purchase, a financial contribution or another administratively and fiscally appropriate arrangement.

Do I need to have concrete plans to buy?

Yes. Our viewing trips are intended for prospective buyers with a genuine intention to purchase and a realistic budget. This helps us prepare the visits carefully and focus on properties that fit your circumstances.

Do all decision-makers need to come along?

Yes. We ask everyone involved in the final purchase decision to attend. This allows everyone to experience the properties and surrounding area first-hand and make an informed decision together.

Do I need to have financing arranged before the trip?

You do not necessarily need to have financing formally approved, but we do ask you to review your financial options in advance. If you are considering financing in Spain, we will be happy to discuss this before you travel.

Can I visit other estate agents during the trip?

During the agreed viewing programme, you visit the selected developments exclusively with Vidando Estates. This allows us to coordinate the schedule and personal guidance effectively.

Will we view new-build or existing properties?

Vidando Estates specialises in new-build properties. Our viewing trips therefore focus mainly on new developments and modern homes that match your wishes and budget.

Am I obliged to buy a property during the viewing trip?

No. The trip is designed to help you explore properties and locations so you can make a well-informed decision. We expect a genuine intention to buy, but you decide whether and when to purchase a property.

What payments are required if I want to reserve a property?

The usual reservation payment is approximately €5,000 to €10,000, depending on the development.

For some new-build developments, a payment of approximately 30% to 50% of the purchase price is then due during the first five months after reservation. Exact amounts, payment dates and terms vary by development and will be explained in advance.
