3. Salt lakes & the cozy Guardamar

On the way to Guardamar del Segura you pass the impressive salt lakes of Santa Pola. Sometimes you see flamingos, always white salt mountains. A unique nature reserve that will really make you quiet.

In Guardamar itself you immediately taste the authentic atmosphere: cozy streets, a beautiful park, local restaurants and a long sandy beach with a lively boulevard. A surprising town that has not yet been overrun by mass tourism.
