Orihuela

Costa Blanca South

One of the most beautiful cities of the Valencia region is Orihuela city. It has a total territory of 365 km2. So that it extends from the coast to far inland. Moreover, it is the historical capital of the region. The territory can be divided into three regions. Orihuela town, then the surrounding country with La Pedrera reservoir and finally Orihuela Costa. The historic center of Orihuela is located at the foot of a mountain. Here there are ruins of old settlements. It lies on the “Rio Segura” or the dry river that crosses the city.
